After several weeks of tests, Gnac 0.2.1 has finally been released!

This new version proposes several new features, including:

• custom rename patterns and folder hierarchy,
• option to strip special characters in filenames,
• possibility to copy an existing profile.

Apart from those new features and some bug fixes, Gnac 0.2.1 comes with several improvements mainly in the graphical user interface and the user-friendliness.

However, be advised that the translations are not all complete yet. We are planning a new release providing improved and new translations very soon.

In the meantime, we are looking forward to hearing your feedbacks and comments on this new version of Gnac.

All features for Gnac 0.2.1 have now been implemented! The strings have also been frozen. We are still running some tests, but you can expect the new version of Gnac to be out in one or two weeks. In the meantime, we are looking for translators, so if you would like to see Gnac in your language, join the Gnac adventure by providing us with an appropriate translation. Concerning the new version of Gnac, we have already implemented several new features and corrected some bugs. We hope to release it very soon.

• Accelerators (e.g., ctrl+i to add files, ctrl+shift+x to convert, ctrl+shift+c to clear the list),

A new version of Gnac is on the road!

There will be not so many new features, but a gazillion code changes and a little suprise!
We decided to clean as much as possible the code. Indeed, the 0.1.x version was our first try and we have learnt from our mistakes. This new start provides to us a better basecode and we can then build more easily on top of it.

For futures versions of Gnac, our goal is to increase the user experience. First, we definitely need a detailed documentation. Second, we want to hit a largest public by providing more translations. Gnac is already translated in seven languages - Czech, English, French, Hebrew, Italian, Romanian and Swedish. What’s about yours?

As promised, Gnac-0.1.1 has been released!

Some improvements include better progressbar and more information about files.

We also spent a lot of time doing code refactoring, mainly in the conversion library which has been partly rewritten.

Gnac’s team is proud to announce the release of the first version of Gnac.

For the moment, Gnac is only available in English and in French (if you want to translate it in another language, please ask one of the project’s admin).
The logo is a temporary one… so if you have some graphical skills and want your name (and your logo!) to appear in Gnac’s about dialog, please feel free to send us your work!
Don’t hesitate to report bugs or request new features (you can check the roadmap on Gnac’s website to see what is planned for future version).
